Issue 106 of the US Electrical Engineering Community EEWeb Pulse magazine
The latest issue of EEWeb Pulse, the online magazine of EEWeb, is dedicated to all things RPi, including an interview with Eben Upton.
As well as the interview there are features about:
- RPiCluster: PhD candidate Josh Kiepert details the process of building a 32-node Raspberry Pi Beowulf cluster.
- 26 Baking Pi & the Unix OS by Alex Toombs: Cambridge University’s new course uses the Raspberry Pi as a platform to show how operating systems work.
- Raspberry Pi Weather Station: This project utilizes the Raspberry Pi’s simplicity and computing power to continuously monitor temperatures and weather patterns.
- The Path to Pi by Rob Riemen: A history of innovations in open source software and hardware that made the Raspberry Pi possible.
Co-founders Joe Wolin and Cody Miller formed Aspen Labs, LLC in 2007 with the goal of creating a business media company that focuses on the needs of engineers. Their first web product called “eCalc” was launched in 2008 and became an instant success among professionals and students. In 2010, they partnered with Digi-Key Corporation and launched EEWeb, a premier electrical engineering community for hardware designers.
In 2011, Aspen Labs, LLC launched EEWeb Pulse Magazine, a digital publication that highlights content from EEWeb Community.
